The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) represents more than a half-million men and women who provide the construction industry with productive, competitive, and expert work on a daily basis. We equip our professional craftsmen with the elite skills that are demanded in today’s construction industry.

UBC training is the hallmark of our union. Apprentices typically complete four years of study in theory, tools, installation procedures and safety measures before becoming journeymen. We also provide career-long skill upgrade training in both technical and leadership development.
